Two years before Angra released their debut album, Angels Cry, a young Brazilian vocalist named Andre Matos appeared on the second Viper release, Theatre of Fate, and blew people away with his now iconic vocal range and style. This recording would lead directly to the singer’s joining of the aforementioned Angra and the rest, as they say, is history. This week we do a deep dive into a record that perhaps should have gotten more attention and was most certainly ahead of its time.
