In the wake of Tomas Lindberg’s tragic death, we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of At the Gates’ Slaughter of the Soul album a little earlier than planned. This seminal melodic death metal release became one of the blueprints for the Gothenburg-style sound that grew out of the early to mid-nineties.
