June’s request comes from our good friend Patrick Celsus who wanted to hear us talk about Katatonia’s 2012 release, Dead End Kings. As a counterpoint to this, we also listened to 2013’s Dethroned & Uncrowned, which is an acoustic version of Dead End Kings. This made for a really fascinating discussion, our first in regard to the Swedish progressive metal band.
